Hi All,
Just wondering where you shop for your SACDs or DVD-As.
I'm trying to track down copies of Peter Gabriel's Up and Us.
I can get them direct from his site but the exchange rate and shipping from the UK are a killer.
Thanks,
Mark

Thanks for the info guys.
I picked them up for 1/2 of what it would have been in the UK.
Plus it left some over for the current live DVD :)
Thanks again,
Mark

Most of the SACD I've bought I found them on Best Buy. They have a pretty decent stock including Peter Gabriel's, James Taylor's, Miles David's among others.

Folks,
For any of you that has a Fry's Electronics near you (www.frys.com) I found that they have a very good selection of both DVD-A's, SACD, and DTS-CD's in house. I went there the other day and found all of the DVD-A's and SACD's that I have not found anywhere else, and had to buy online.

Doesn't anyone else check out the used shops? I've bought almost all of my hi-res discs from used shops for pretty good prices -- anywhere from $10 CAD to maybe $18 CAD for the used ones.
Well, maybe it's a good thing that most people don't think of the used record shops -- just leaves more hi-res goodies for me!
cheers,

supervij,
I've tried that here, unfortunately there are not many if any at all. Most of the people I've talked to that work at record stores or used music shops just look blankly at me if I ask for DVD-A or SACD. They think I'm talking about a concert DVD or something. Either that or they show me a DualDisc, and I say, well that's close, but not quite what I was looking for. :) So far Fry's and Best Buy here have had the greatest selection, probably because they actually have a section for that kind of music. The only two so far that I have found anywhere nearby me to have a separate section for that kind of music.
