What is the best amp for my w7 13" jl sub?

Well personally here is what I am going to do.. in the true spirit of DIY type ideas. There is an amplifier created by madison sound that for PA use, but its better than 90% of the amps that I have seen for music out there... The good news is that you can pick it up in some places for around $300 and it will put out 1200 watts of power. It also has ballanced inputs, and xlr inputs. The bad side is that its only a stereo amp but I figure when I am truly playing music thats all I want anyways.
