DIY comp speakers/studio monitors

A while ago, I was heavily considering building some powered speakers for use at my computer. However, I couldnt find any amps to be built into the speakers. Any idea where one can buy these types of amps?

Go to to the partsexpress forum. User by name of Aaron builds/sells various hardware for DIYers. One of these was exactly as you want; but I am not sure if he still makes that product. Please check with him on that website.
