Hello Every1,
Finally after a lot of thinking, researching and a demo from the yamaha dealer I am buying the Rx-V2600 reciever. Now I am totally confused which speakers i should buy. Yesterday I visited Jamo and JBL. I am running a tight budget so I guess i have to choose between these 2 only.

The Jamo has E 600 surrounds, E 6CEN center, E 680 front , SUB 650 subwoofer. This system sounds great I really enjoyed it.

The JBL has E10 surrounds, E80 front, EC35 center and E150/E250 subwoofer I really dont remember which ones very well. I liked these ones as well but I really cant make up my mind between these two speaker systems.

Price wise they are just 100-200$ up down. Not a real big difference.

I would really appreciate if you can give me some comments on which ones to go for...

Regards,
Sheryar

I have not heard the Jamo...but I have owned JBL's for 30 years. They don't have a large fanclub here, primarily because they're now sold to "the masses" via Big Box stores (like Best Buy) and quality is judged to be poor. I've auditioned a lot of speakers, and my Studio Series and ancient 'L' Series hold their own with most of them. Of those you mentioned, I do use the EC35 as my center channel and am very pleased with its presentation and dynamics.

The bottom line is if you like their sound, that's all that matters!!
