Thanks. Aside from the beveled edge, I don't really see any difference. A lot of people say they are ugly or plain, but I really like their simplicity.

Very subtle on the grille, but I actually kind of like them without it... Interestingly, all of my speakers have no logo except the center.

I must admit...I am appreciative when a speaker looks pretty snazzy...but I've got to agree; there is something about their simplicity that I like too. I'd love to give 'em a listen.

I'm patiently waiting to hear these guys at a local member's place in the next few weeks. One of my favorite speakers is about as plain as they come, but damn they sound good:

With a higher tuning point than a sub, port turbulence is less of an issue, so the port doesn't need to be flared dramatically. My speakers are very similar in overall design to those guys, with a very similar port.

j_garcia, are you going to hear the 340's or the Joseph Audios? The way the post was worded, I couldn't tell which pair "these guys" referred to. If it is in fact the 340's, I'd like to hear your impressions, what you think of them.

Sorry, I re-read that and it is a bit confusing. :confused: I've heard the RM7Sis already *drool* :cool:, and I am waiting for the opportunity to hear the 340SEs still.

I recieved them about a week ago, they sound great! Nice smooth and clear sound. Even radio sounds great w/clear reception.

If you are refering to the difference in SEs and the "Classics" , the cabinets are identical, the Classics had the beveled edge also. The SEs do have a new tweet, new driver, new tuning, xo adjustments.
