I've been trying to find reviews and information on the internet about the Snell type E/II speakers. Since my searches haven't returned much information I'm hoping I strike the Jackpot of responses on this site.
What I'm looking for is listening impressions and specifically if the drivers have foam surrounds. The listening impressions are to guage how others perceived them in there different types of rooms. The second part of the question is to prepare me for what, if any types of maintenance, might be required in the short term.

BTW, I did go listen to a pair and I was floored by the sound in their listening room. However, since they are used speakers I do not have the same liberty of returning because they are basically on clearance.
