Due to a very pleasing (and somewhat suspicious) opinion turnaround from my wife recently, we are going to delve into the DLP-HDTV market later this summer.

I am very intrigued by the new 46" Samsung HL-S4666W. Good price and the Sammy's I've seen have excellent picture quality, and this is their latest technology, came out in late April '06.

Anyway, I was wondering, since reviews of this TV are currently non-existent on the web (from my searching so far), do any of you out there in cyberspace have this TV or the comparable model from this latest line from Samsung?

I'd be very interested in your opinions on it.

Thanks.

I dont own a Samsung DLP but I have been looking into possibly purchasing one this summer. I looked at Samsungs in a store and they looked very good to me for the price.

Also wanted to let you know that this model retails at $1,899 but Amazon has it for $1,549 and they are an authorized dealers for Samsung DLP TV's.

I've seen it locally for $1699 - great deal for a great set. The picture is outstanding and the frame around the picture is closer to black than the HLR series.

Cheers!
