A buddy & I were discussing this today. You know, parts in movies that you couldn't imagine being played by anyone else. My all-time favorite might be Ted Knight as Judge Schmales in "Caddyshack". We also had to give kudos to Jackie Gleason in "Smokey & the Bandit".Got any favorites? Seems I can always name a dozen until I really want to,then the mind goes blank.

Might be a kids movie, but I've always found his performance in it priceless-Gene Wilder as Willy Wonka

I always liked Harrison Ford as Indiana Jones. He was real. He was cool, smart and messed up quite a bit. Just like me. :D

Shinerman, downing number 3 as we speak!

Newman was great in Cool Hand Luke. Which reminds me he was also great in "Butch Cassidy & the Sundance Kid"(Who are those guys?).

Loved Paxton as Hicks.

I always thought Thomas Banacek in Mystery movie series he shared with Columbo and Macmillan and Wife, he found the impossibe for a 10% finders fee. Some of those capers I would have never thought of, George Pepard was a classy/classic character for he used his last name except for the art dealer Felix who called him Thomas. My favorite "$500,000 a Page" with Stella Stevens in her prime also. I have all of his episodes on VHS tapes when we were allowed, to copy movies of our paid for monthly cable bill. :)

The entire central cast of The Big Lebowski:

Jeff Bridges - The Dude
John Goodman - Walter
Steve Buscemi - Donny

Brilliant. Some of the best casting of all time.
