so far i've been looking at this

or would I be better off with this:

ok, i should've mentioned i dont want front projection as I can't control the lighting in my room well enough to justify it.

you should be able to get a 50" rpcrt for around 1k
get a sunday paper and check out the adds

Yeah, I've seen sales around big holidays for rpcrt's be as low as $800, but your'e looking things like RCA and some lower end big screens
