Is there any noticable difference in a Hybrid SACD as opposed to a "straight" SACD recording? I would asume the following: There is no difference, the "straight" SACD came before the hybrid and just never went away, and I am crazy for asking.
Just need to verify my logic from someone else. Thanks,
Buckeye

There is no difference at all. Hybrid only refers to the fact that the disc has regular CD tracks in addition to the SACD tracks.

The non-Hybrid will not play in a CD player. The Hybrid will play in a CD player.

Correct, but the question is whether or not there is a difference in the SACD portion (that's the way I took it), and the answer is no.
