1080i via component on Denon 1910 possible?

My Sony doesn't have a DVI port (the Denon does), but it is 1080i capable. Is there is any way to output 1080i video signal through the component cables? Any remote control 'unlocking' technique that might come handy?

No. I belive the majority of players that do 1080i also don't do it via component either. There may be some that do, but I'm not sure.
