I went to Futureshop and Best buy and all they carry is Monster. I was looking at Acoustic Research and there's only 16 guage. 40-50 feet would be ample.

At rona, you can buy just pieces of wire, you don't have to buy a whole spool, but I did. I have 250feet of 12ga, and it only cost me $100.

I got mine from 2001 Audio Video. The brand was ThunderWire, and it cost $60 (before discount) for 50 feet.

cheers,
