Just finished I Robot and found it to be very similar to the in-theater version: highly entertaining with great effects and great DTS sound track. Overall a must have in any Home Theater buff's dvd collection IMO.

I agree. :) I think it's an excellent film.
The house demo scene had me scrambling for the remote. :)

Its a pity it had nothing to do with the book... switched off half way through

gotta love Will Smith in movies. Independance Day, I Robot, Bad Boys 1 and 2. he's got a different kind of humor

I'm a huge Sci-fi fan and I actually like Will Smith but this and Independence Day are just not that good IMO. I gave I Robot 3 stars and ID 2 stars on my Netflix rating. Great effects and sound do not necessarily make for a great movie, think Armageddon.

bad boys 1 and 2: he shot off more words than bullets. (in a frikkin gunfight)

I agree, good film & a good transfer to DVD. BTW, they never claimed to follow the book, read the intro credits, it says "inspired" by the book; that tells you they took the basic concept & ran with it.
