PS3 delays?!! Take with a grain of salt (really, go get some salt)

Alright, take this as complete rumor. I heard from a guy who heard from a guy at EB corporate that they are having major problems with the PS3. Supposedly the cell processor is the culprit. It is running way too hot and melting to the motherboard in a lot of cases, and they are having problems getting the hardware to communicate.

I don't know why someone at EB corporate would know this, or why they would leak it to someone at an EB store in my neck of the woods, but I enjoy spreading crazy rumors that unsuspecting people may or may not believe.

So anyway, if you are wondering why there is not an exact release date for the PS3, this may or may not be the reason. If the release date for the PS3 gets pushed back even further and you're wondering why, this may or may not be the reason. If you enjoy spreading electronics gossip (and let's face it, who doesn't?), take this news (and by news I mean unconfirmed rumor) and run wild with it. Post it every place you frequent on the net (although don't be surprised if lovelylinda69 doesn't seem interested). Tell all your family and friends. Why?? Cuz let's face it. This is probably the most interesting thing you've read all day and you should share it with others.

Well the 360 overheats too, and the PS2 was pretty hot in its original version, so this doesn't really suprise me.

I still really want a PS3, even moreso since the XBox360 doesn't have a single game I want to buy. :rolleyes:

Which games from the PS3's launch are you looking forward to buying? I cant wait to get my hands on a PS3 either, but I do think that the X360's launch lineup is very respectable. I have had a blast with it. So far I've picked up:

Perfect Dark Zero "good"
COD2 "Best Game I've Played"

This was game media overhype. For the record I never had a problem with my ps2 either (that is when I still played it -- not too many problems with it now since it is gathering dust in my closet...)

Roshamboe is from southpark (surprise surprise). It's basically saying I'm gunna kick you in the nuts. Though generally your doing it FOR something. So each person throws blows until only one if left standing. Since I have a large leg, you'd probably fall down after one blow.
