Some speakers manufacturerers started out being something other than Canadian such as Dahlquist .

I think us and the British have the market on lockdown ;). Ok, that might not be true, but we do seem to have a lot of high quality speaker manufacturers up here.

Those Gershmans are some fugly speakers IMO. They might sound great (I don't know), and lord knows I'm not too hung up on the looks of speakers, but man are those things hideous. The hemp speakers are pretty interesting. I'm not kidding, I mean hemp is a pretty tough fiber, I wonder how it does as material in a cone? Probably has some smokey highs ;) .

Don't forget totem. They make very expensive stuff.

lol i like the title. and yes, sinclair is really nice =D. Im going to be upgrading my surrounds and centers to brighton speakers. i already have the sp2600T. best choice ive made in a long time. Now ive just gotta wait for the new sound formats to come out and upgrade to a separate pre-pro/amp setup

Good job 3db! I didn't think there were many Canadian speaker manufacturers. Time to do some research.
