Suggestions for speakers.....

New to the forum but frequent vistor. Having a new house built and looking for recommendations for speakers in the family room. The room is approx. 17x22 with 9ft ceilings. Our movies/tv/music breakdown is about 50%/35%/15%. Our budget is around $1000-1500. I am also considering wall mount speakers for the rear (good idea or bad???) TIA for you help.

or look on audiogon.com for used speakers. remember you get what you pay for. and the fronts are the most important. you could buy better fronts and add the rears and such later on. what kind of music do you listen too.

Thanks for the info. Music listening is a variety of jazz, classic rock and alt. rock.
