How do you hook up 2 subs to your reciever?

I was just wondering before I go and buy another sub.:D

Using an RCA Y splitter. One male end, 2 female ends. Plug into receiver pre out and hook subwoofer cables to each female end. Plug other end of subwoofer cables into subwoofer. Power on system. Begin vibrating :)
