You mean you don't have a filing system, yeah the .PDF will do it, I got one for my mom she lost hers to the RCA RC6000P DVD player my reward for buying a RCA F38310 back in 2001. I got my files for products that were used up years ago, and I have a hard wire Mod for a JVC DVD player, I have the manual it's in the filing cabinet. Words "do not open or you'll find out what semtex does to you" are in red ink on the cabinets. :D

This is the current link. Stupidly enough, on the JVC site, doing a search for the SX-770 will net nothing. So I did a search on SX-700 and it came up with a list of "similar" products... including the SX-770... what idiots...

JVC isn't the only company that will sell you a manual. Most companies sell manuals for their products. I guess they figure, if you can't keep up with it, you deserve to be charged. When you buy used from someone, you can blame them for not keeping up with it.
These companies have to pay to have the manuals printed. They aren't cheap either.
Contact Denon, Krell, Yamaha, Rotel, etc..........tell them you bought a used amp or receiver. Ask them for a manual, and see what they tell you!
If you (or anyone) won't buy anything from a company that won't GIVE you a manual, you may never buy another piece of equipment. :)
Hello I am looking to see if anyone has a new link for the intructions for this unit. or if anyone can just tell me how to set the clock. It would be appreciated if anyone can help. I have tried all three links on this page. If anyone has it downloaded and could e-mail it to me that would be great too. Thanks

Has anyone attached their iPod to the JVC KD-SX770. I am especially interested to see if the JVC iPod control module will hook up to this headunit... it seems to work great on the latest units and I hoped that it would also work on the KD-SX770 too
