speaker cable lenghts

I was wondering if speaker cable lenght matters from side to side?

Length does not matter really with propery sized cable, unless one is 1000 feet long and the other is a foot. 14 gauge or thicker anywhere up to 30' won't be an issue. Beyond that check post the specifics for better advice.

I'll be using 16 AWG but i only have 50 ft of cable, so the shortest lenght is 5ft but my longest would be 25ft. Is the difference too big?
