Since the PSB B25s have a 6.5 inch woofer, is the bigger and more expensive C60 center channel a better match since it has the same size woofers? Or does it matter. I will do stereo audio, multichannel audio, and movies. Thanks.

After having an Image 8C, I would opt for the C60. The larger center sounds more realistic. Much less like a speaker. The best part is, the woofers match perfectly, better timbre.

I see you settled on the B25s. :)

The c60 is the ideal match. I have 2B's and an 8c, but I wish I had the room for a 9c. The 9c and c60 are certainly etter speakers than the 8c and c40. I will admit that the 8c still does a darn sweet job of keeping up with the 2B's though.

I think the Image series is timber matched across their whole series meaning you can mix and match their 5.5 and 6.5 speakers. I have the older Image8C and I'm more happy with its performance. It doesn't start compressing until volumes levels begin to reach obsecene levels of loudness. And then, I'm not sure if my receiver is the one being the culprit. If your going to set the center channel as a "small" speaker on your receiver, it makes no sense to buy the bigger center channel. If however, you plan on running it as a large speaker, than by all means, get the bigger one.

Which would you recommend, large or small? (setting for the receiver)

Definitely small. For either choice. Both are good choices (speakers). However, if space and price are not a big issue, do the C60, you will be happier. The center is one of the most important choices, do it right the first time.

I'm using the combo of the Image C40 and the Image T55s. My local audio dealer didn't have the T45s, but had the T55s on sale for the same price as the T45s. The mix of 6.5 drivers in the towers and the 5.5 in the center channel is not an issue here. I listen to a good bit of multi-channel audio and am very pleased with what I'm hearing. Just posting this in case you don't want to spend the extra cash/don't have room for the larger center channel.
