Floor and Center Spearkers with Built in Amps

My Yamaha HTR5890 has pre-outs for floor, center, surround and sub-woofer. I am using the sub-woofer and a y cable for 2 subs. I have a very large room and was wondering if I could add 2 additional floor speakers using these pre-outs. I have searched the internet but can only locate subs that have built in amps.

Those preouts are for extra amps, to give you more power for your speakers. They are not for extra speakers.

If you want to hook up speakers to that, they will have to be powered monitors, usually in pro audio. You would be better off getting a dedicated amp, and power the mains and center off that. Adding extra speakers will not help.
