I just got a new set of PSBs: 2 Image T55s, 1 Image C40 and 2 Image B15s. For what I like (DVD, Jazz, Classical), they were the best I could afford/audition in my area.
I've got a metal-head friend buying all my old Klipsch stuff. I like the Klipsch, but they were just too bright for me...9 years was enough.
I really didn't see much around here concerning PSB, but I couldn't order something online without hearing them. That being said, I appreciate all the knowledge I've received by reading this forum!

I love PSB speakers. You bought one heck of a setup that will sound fantastic with your choices of music. My setup is 4 PSB 2Bs and an 8C. PSB is a very high value for the dollar company. I think you've made a great investment for what it's worth. Congrats.

Like Takereasy...I love my PSB setup.. I own a pair of ImageT45s, Image 8c, Image 1B and a Subsonic5. They only upgrade I'm consdiering is moving up to the Subsonic6i. That'll take alot of convincing and flowers cause my wife already hates the bass from the sub now. maybe if I use the approach "but Honey now can you can feel it instead" *L*
You'll be hard pressed to find a speaker that images better than PSB image series for the money. I''ve compared them to both Paradigm'd Monitor Series and Axioms M60's and to me PSB laid down the most increadable and detailed soundstage of the group.. I know I'm ranting but last night I listened to Beethoven's pianno Concerto #2 and was falbbergasted by the soundstage. I could pick out the location of every instrument and that the piano was sitting on the left hand side of the conductor. It was surreal.

Thanks guys for the vote of confidence!
At some point I want to complete this setup with the 6th channel (1 back surround speaker), but buying another Image C40 is expensive and probably overkill. My other choice is using an Image B15, but they come in pairs and that would cost just as much. I really don't have room for 2 of them.
I'm not sure what to do...the chance of finding one Image B15 on Ebay or somewhere else is not likely. It is not the end of the world, but it is something I would like to do in the near future.

Why not look for a C40 on ebay or audiogon then? If worst comes to worst you could look for an 8C or a 1B. Also not to stir the pot but you can get brand new 8C's for $179 and 1B's for $219 at soundcity.com.
By the way, PSB just redid their website. It looks great nut it seems slow as hell to load. Might just be my work connection.

Takeereasy,
Thanks for the suggestions! Buy the way, it is not your work connection. The PSB site is messed up at the moment. I have not been able to register my speakers or send them an email about buying 1 B15 (it won't hurt to ask).

Not a problem. Nice to know it's not my work connection. The 1B is very, very, very close to the B15 performance wise, and $100 or more savings is very worth it.

At least you got PSB's page loaded *L* I get time outs

It looks like the PSB site is back up. I must admit I'm really please with this purchase. The fatigue factor with Klipsch was really getting to me and I'm able to do hours of listening/movies with the PSB. While this forum has caused me to spend a lot of money, at least I didn't waste money and took my time setting all of this up.

While I like PSB speakers, I couldn't imagine owning the Image T65's with their 20 inch depth - it's a bit ridiculous. My current speakers are 15 inches deep, and I thought they are deep enough.
Ohmage.
