NAD amp with Sony avr?

Is a Nad amp (916) compatible with a low end Sony avr (str-k502)? How would you wire them together? I want to drive my front 3 speakers with the amp.

I can't find much on that model. If the reciever has pre-outs on the back then the amp can be hooked up to these. I'm having doubts that that model has them however. If it does not there is no way that I'm aware of to use a power amp.
