Can anyone assist me in connecting Audio from PC to my home theater . using a intel motherboard (d915PBL) and sony home theater (HT-DDW740).

Just the audio.

You will probably need to use a stereo jack to two phono lead, or a optical digital interface, if your computer has one. For the stereo jack, plug the jack into the speaker out socket at the back of the computer, and then connect the two phono leads to the audio inputs on your amplifier.

I have done a connection like this before, and found that the sound card volume had to be put up to the maximum level.
