The "future proof" 45-inch monitor has a full 1920 x 1080 HD resolution (that's more than six million pixel elements). With a streamlined black bezel, rugged rear metal enclosure and dual cooling fans for extended use applications, the PN-455 looks to fit well into any digital signage or information display setting. The PN-455 is available at a suggested list price of $9,595 through Sharp authorized dealers, and is backed by a one-year on-site parts and labor limited warranty.

Gee... I wonder if it actually has discrete on/off IR or if you can turn it 'ON' via RS-232. A feature sorely lacking in their consumer model.
Knowning Sharp, it probably doesn't even accept 1080p input.

Errrmmmm... They just have some engineering issues with their flat panel displays. I have also used their projectors and think they are some of the best projectors I have worked with. They are WELL aware of issues with their flat panels, and these issues are YEARS old, yet still are not being addressed by engineering. Not a sign of a good company that I would recommend.
NEC has a 46" LCD display - sure, it's not 1920x1080... but it works.
Futureproof.... ha... they taking marketing tips from Bose... or Sanyo?
