Looking to get a good 50" tv for a guy that just wants a nice flat pannel tv for his rec room. I am not into tons of tv watching. Just like to catch some games and maybe a movie or 2. Is this TV any good? Whats the pro's and con's? Thanks

doesn't look like a bad item, but I think you could get more for your money if you went with a 42" from Pioneer, LG, Samsung

Thanks but I do have my heart set on a 50"....but maybe you have a point. Will look some more. Thanks
I would take a look at Panny. They make an awesome Plasma for a good price. Pioneer makes a sweet unit but it is going to be more than the Panny.

I agree with Spiffyfast totally. Those three companies are the best for the money with the highest hour rating of any out there. I just had a meeting with my LG rep yesterday stating that the LG's are getting 60,000Hrs before half brightness. Another display that is right up there is Fujitsu.
