Tough to make out how many speaker terminals he is wiring. It looks like one has two wires. And, where are the wires coming from?

there are two binding posts on the speaker, and 4 sets of cables, two for each binding post.

two banana's and two spades for each one.

It looks like (the "Audiophile") is using stereo signals from two amps. The left and right from amp 1 is feeding the tweeter binding posts and the Left and Right from amp 2 is feeding the mid/bass binding posts...instead of just using a mono signal from each amp. :D

Basically what is going on there is this guy has way too much time on his hands. The speakers probably don't need the amount of current that that much wire can deliver, so there really isn't any benefit.

I like one of the other pictures in there that shows that he is using this gigantic custom (home) made cable and in the background we see that he is also using the crappy interconnects, with no shielding whatsoever, that came in the box with his gear... Yup, audiophile here folks.

Yeah and that wire is only like 3 feet long, at least the pic I saw. Using what looks to be about 8awg wire. Benefit=I think not....
