Would like to have opinions on these 2 universal players to be used via component only.I'm looking to get into the dvd-a/sacd bandwagon but PQ is also important to me as well as the multi playback. Also how would the rotel rdv1050/1060 compare,i realize the rotel is dvd-a only but i can live with that if i had to.I presently have some dvd-a discs as well as some dual sacd's.But i would like to hear them the way your supposed to.I currently just use my dvd player for the dvda disc's that i have. Thanks

You might want to consider the Integra DPS 6.5. Its two hundred bucks cheaper and might be a good way to go if you only need componet connections. The other bonus is it plays Redbook CD's well.

I have a 2910 and have been happy with it, but upgrading entire system so mine is for sale in classifieds section. DVD video playback is superb, as is sound quality from DVD video. Standard CD sound quality is very good, DVDA is very good as is SACD. My DVDA/SACD collection is limited however as selection in Indy is not great. Easy to operate and set up, very solid universal player. My upgrade is leaning towards a Cary Cinema 6 pre/pro, Cinema 5 amp and Cinema 6 DVD player, although still shopping. The Denon is a great unit at it's price point. I don't have any experience with Marantz. hope this helps.
