Sigh...some people really have more money than common sense....and obviously no WAF to deal with... ;)

I dunno about the Avante Garde system...

I think I'd rather have a pair of Gaudi's and a matching setup of Boulder 2000 series electronics, a Linn Universal Player, and a Rockport Series III turntable.

Boulder (http://www.boulderamp.com/index_flash.html).
Rockport (www.rockporttechnologies.com)

wasn't that a demo setup for a show, like ces, or something?

Yeah that's gotta be a demo setup. Very imposing.

Yeah, I agree, it has a WOW factor to it, but it really doesn't look that nice to me either.

Personally, I think it's rather attrocious looking.

Seems I saw something like that before...

That's....actually....scary. I can only imagine incurring permanent hearing damage, in the course of some accident where volume is at maximum and under some unusual circumstances, you are exposed to 150+ dB of midrange...... Ack!

the physical horns are ugly, but i like the look of the subwoofer, as a matter of fact, it turns me on....

Who makes that for the consumer anyway? I'd be happy with a solid seperates setup
