View Full Version : Help deciding on a receiver
Hello everyone Im really confused on which receiver to buy. Some of the condsideratins are the denon 3803, Marantz 8200, kenwood 5700, jvc rx-dp10vbk. Any information would greatly appreciated. Ive done some research but I would like some other opinions. Thanks
Having dealt with and sold both for quite awhile, I can say that the Denon will be not only more durable (and supply you with multi-room/seven-channel capability out of the box), but will have more authorized dealers to choose from and therefore be more price-competitive. Marantz has a three-year warranty, and Denon two, but the Marantz really needs that extra year.

Depending on your price range, and based on the models above, the Denon 3803 has my vote. *We have a hotlink to their site on our front page news section.
From what we have read on the 3803, it looks like another great receiver from Denon.
If you get it, let us know what you think.

Skyy,
Why don,t you consider YAMAHA RXV-1400. It has great features and pretty much cheaper too.

I would choose the Denon 3803. I think Denon makes the best receivers hands down. I just installed the Denon 2803 and it's awesome.
Good Luck

Probably because when this thread was started it was not out yet. This is a 2 year old thread. He is probably shopping for another new reciever now ;)
