Hi, im planning to replace my Monitor Audio B2 as my surround speakers because i feel that i need more enveloping sound in my HT set-up. I was thinking of getting a Paradigm ADP 170 which is a relatively old model (version 2) as compared to my Mini Monitors (V3) speakers.

Also, i am aware that the ADP 370 is the perfect match for my minis except that the local distributor here is giving me a good discount not to mention that the cost of the ADP 370 is quite prohibitive.

Can anybody in this forum comment or cite a testimonial regarding the chemistry of these Paradigms.

Btw, my center speaker is not yet a Paradigm (JM Lab Chorus) which i believe is still a decent center speaker for my set-up.

I appreciate your comments and suggestions

The Paradigm ADP 170's seem to be a better choice for HT as opposed to serious SACD or DVD-A musical titles. I love my Polk di-poles for surround HT, but agree with the following review that this type of speaker may be a little too much for pure audio enjoyment. Stick with direct two channel if you buy them when listening to audio.
