Thanks and yeah it kinda blew. I was watching a movie and there was a part where some music came on nothing crazy but enuff to turn on the sub for the first time in the movie and it Poped real loud then was just buzzing so I went over by it and it smelled like something was burning. Unpluged it and then I took the sub out and put in one I had laying around to see if it was the amp or the sub I pluged it back in and it was buzzing again then the sub just started smoking. All is well though now I have an excuse to get a better sub :-)
Thanks and keep the replys coming Pics are on the way,
Sean

Ooh, nice syystem! Where do you buy your RCA cables? What kind are they? They look nice and thick, for some reason. Is that because of gauge?

Looks like you've got a good start and the space for a heck of a HT. I love basements for this purpose. They are always cool in the summer and light is usually not much of a problem if any. My HT room starting out looking like a terd and now looks decent but there is always something else to be done.

Sorry for the delayed response. All my wiring is Blue Jeans Cable except for the speaker wire. They look big cause they are big, each wire is decent and then there is a ton of shielding around the bundle. I love those cable's and would recomend them to anyone at any level of equipment. As far as the basement thing goes unfortunitaly I still live with my parents so my dreams of building a HT room are as of now dashed. Soon Ill have a worthy room for all my stuff but for now the sound is in a way going to waste. Youres looks good and either way sound is much more important and Im sure it sounds amazing. Any room is better than no room. :)

I am considering getting the Integra DTR 6.5 what do you think about the unit that you are running? I am also considering getting the Integra DPS 5.5 DVD player. Please send me your thoughts regarding quality, ease of operation and reliability. I am going to match them up with the Atlantic Technology 2200 speakers with the 422 sub. I am new at this would appreciate any suggestions. Please feel free to contact me at fredmah@msn.com
