Default Yamaha rx-v373 or Denon 1513?

I have a 5.1 setup of the Pioneer speakers by Andrew Jones and I am looking to upgrade to a new entry level receiver around $250 solely to power my speakers. I am currently thinking about going with either the Yamaha rx-v373 or the Denon 1512. I want the receiver with the best reliability and the best amplifier. I don't care about extra features. Having read the specs, it is not clear to me which one might be better. The Yamaha is rated at 10 more watts per channel but then I read that the Denon uses discrete circuits in the amplifier and the Yamaha does not appear to. Between these two, what would you guys recommend?

Neither. Get the Denon 1612. The Denon 15 series is pretty poor and lacks some very helpful features. Something with an auto set up system. Audyssey is one of the more advanced and it also EQ's the sub. This can be a very helpful tool if your room is less than ideal. You can also get refurbished models at accessories4less.com for really cheap.
