y cb cr connection to vga connection possible?

Is it possible to connect a y cb cr connection from my Marantz SR18 receiver monitor out output jacks to a computer lcd monitor that has a vga female connection?

I have already tried a y cb cr cable end to vga cable end from my receiver to a lcd monitor, monitor reads: no signal.

Would I need a signal converter, I'm uncertain whether the monitor accepts digital or analog signal. I understand my receiver's y cb cr monitor out jacks are digital.

Could you advise me what I need, my display lights no longer work on my Marantz, so I need to connect the receiver to lcd monitor as a OSD.

Thank you for taking the time looking up on what I may need. I checked this converter out, question: Isn't y pb pr an analog signal cable which this concerter is? My receiver has y cb cr outputs, as I recall is digital signal.

y cb cr (red green blue) is analog. Yes - it can carry HD signal , but the signal is analog, same as VGA - it's also analog, just a bit different
