Default Which amp would be better?

I am going to power 2 kappa perfect VQ simple builds... Should I use this Behringer iNuke: Behringer NU3000 Power Amplifier, 3000 Watts at zZounds

Or this Crown amp: Crown XLS 1500 Power Amp, 1500 Watts at zZounds

It doesnt bother me to spend the extra money on the crown if its the superior amp... I don't want the iNuke with DSP...

I really dont think you could go wrong with either, but Id honestly have to give the reliabilty edge to Crown. I see a lot of reconditioned B stock Behringer stuff for sale on the pro sites and ebay.

I agree... I would go with the Crown amps. Wow lot of WPC. I have saved a ton of $$ by owning older Klipsch Heritage speakers that do NOT need mega amps and now being retired I can't afford. My older brother had smaller rated Crowns and never had a problem with them. What speakers do you have that need this much power???

I'd go with the Peavey IPR and a mini dsp. Combine price is a little more than the inuke, but you get better reliability.

Loving my Crown so far, but I really have only been running it for like 2 weeks. But I am pushing it hard though.

I will be pushing my 2 kappa perfect builds and thanks for all the replies! I happen to have 2 of the Infinity Kappa Perfect VQ subs that aren't being made anymore. I am going to buy the Crown amp next paycheck!

Make double sure whatever you buy is able to accept RCA inputs, unless you have balanced outs on your receiver (doubtful). A lot of the studio/gigging stuff is balanced input only.

The link you posted above says it has XLR, 1/4 inch and RCA inputs.
